Glass Feeder Expendables

CoorsTek produces a range of feeder expendables using carefully selected materials fabricated in accordance with strict manufacturing process control. These products, which display excellent resistance to corrosion from molten glass, corrosive steam, and drastic changes in temperature, reliably meet the varying needs of users.

M311

M311 is a refractory material that has high-purity alumina as its main constituent element. It exhibits exceptional thermal shock resistance and is mainly used for orifice rings.

M315

M315 is an alumina zircon refractory material the same as M333. Its higher ratio of zircon and higher strength make it a higher quality material than M333. It is used for spouts, plungers, stirrers, tubes, and other parts that are in direct contact with glass.

M333

M333 is an alumina zircon refractory material with outstanding resistance to corrosion from molten glass and slag. It is used for spouts, plungers, stirrers, tubes, and other parts that are in direct contact with glass.

M390

M390 is an extremely fine high-purity alumina refractory material. It has high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The material works well with glass and suppresses the generation of bubbles. It is mainly used in plungers and tubes for special glass.

M344

M344 is a high-purity alumina refractory material. Its extremely fine and tough murite matrix gives it excellent resistance to corrosion from alkali steam. It has wide applications, including its use in upper fore-hearth structures, cover blocks and burner blocks.

M338

M338 is a high-purity alumina refractory material the same as M344. Its higher purity murite matrix gives it far higher resistance to corrosion from alkali steam than does M344. It has wide applications, including its use in upper fore-hearth structures, cover blocks and burner blocks.
